

An aerial photograph of the ConocoPhillips Alpine Oil Field on the North Slope of Alaska. The oil production at Alpine is located very remote on the North Slope of Alaska, off the road system in the summer and only conected by ice road in winter. All transportation is by airplane year round. The oil is transported to marked through the 800 mile long trans Alaska oil pipeline from Prudhoe Bay to Valdez Alaska and by oil tankers to West Coast oil refineries.
